Agree on the display and a simpler alternative
Ask the funeral director where the tribute can stand and whether there are size or access restrictions. Personal items, photographs, and keepsakes may need separate handling. Do not send an irreplaceable object to be built into flowers without agreeing how it will be protected and returned.
