The service may be at the funeral home or another place of worship. Do not assume flowers delivered to one venue will automatically travel to the next.
Memorial service
A memorial can occur without the body present and may take place weeks later. The venue may have its own setup time, access rules, and display limits.
Graveside or cemetery service
Weather, cemetery rules, and limited setup space can affect flower choices. Confirm the receiving location with the cemetery or funeral director before sending a formal piece directly there.
When the schedule has several venues
Ask which location should receive the flowers and whether the family wants them moved. The florist needs one confirmed delivery destination for the order.
