The same arrangement can have two different destinations
You do not have to choose a standing spray to send flowers to a funeral. A basket or finished vase arrangement can be a thoughtful service gift from a friend. For a family home, consider the available table space and how easily the recipient can move the arrangement. The delivery setting matters more than the label used in a search.
Bloom Lane’s Serene Bouquet is described for the home or service. It arrives arranged in a clear glass vase, with white lilies, hydrangea, stock, alstroemeria, carnations, and greenery. Its Classic, Signature, and Grand choices change the size and fullness; it has no separate color selector. If a flower must be excluded, do not assume an order note confirms a changed recipe.
Compare home-size and service-size baskets
Serenity Basket offers a Signature size described for the home or a smaller gathering. Its Service size is a substantial floor basket, while Grand adds height and fullness. Choose the size description that fits the destination instead of assuming every basket is compact. White & green, Blue & white, and Yellow & cream are the listed palette choices.
Standing sprays and casket arrangements have more specific display needs. Coordinate a casket tribute with the person arranging the funeral. For home delivery, start in the home section of the sympathy collection rather than selecting the largest service display. A plant also requires ongoing care; it is a better choice when you know the recipient wants one.
Compare gifts for the home
For a separately welcomed home delivery, compare the basket size with a finished vase. Use the residential address, not a previously selected funeral-home destination; check household suitability before purchase.
Address the gift to the person or gathering receiving it
For a funeral-home delivery, include the full name of the person being remembered, the correct branch address, and the first viewing time. For a home gift, use the living recipient’s name, complete residential address, and a delivery day when someone can receive it. Do not send flowers to a workplace just because its address is easier to find; first check that the recipient welcomes that setting.
If you started shopping on a named funeral-home page, check that its address has been replaced before ordering for a residence. A service delivery does not include a later trip to the family home. Flowers can be sent after the funeral when the family welcomes them; there is no need to force a home gift into the ceremony’s schedule.
Check availability and the family’s wishes
Bloom Lane’s same-day cutoff is 12 PM at the destination. The product, florist, and receiving window must still be available; some formal designs are not same-day eligible. A home gift also needs a workable delivery date, even though it has no service deadline.
Follow a clear request for donations or another form of remembrance. Confirm religious or cultural preferences instead of deciding from a surname. If you cannot establish that flowers are welcome, a personal condolence message can be sent without a flower order. Bloom Lane is an independent florist, not the funeral home’s own service.
